Francha Cavitt - Fine Artist

Born in Minneapolis Minnesota, Francha spent most of her childhood in San Diego California. Over the years she has lived in Colorado, Nevada, Northern California and now resides in Flagstaff Arizona.

Having completed her art education, she now works as a fine artist and illustrator from her home in Arizona. Francha also taught art as an instructor for the Hozhoni Foundation in Flagstaff.

Francha's work has been sold at fundraising auctions that support local organizations and educational institutions.

"My subject matter is inspired by my love of the natural world like the beach and mountains and by loved ones like friends and family. My desire is to convey to viewers a sense of connection to a painting or drawing by triggering a memory or feeling they may have had while enjoying the natural world. Those special moments in life can pass so easily unless we stop and take notice."
